Walk through the torii this week to experience the flavours of Japan at Nihon Matsuri, running until July 31 at Stadium Bukit Jalil's Carpark B, from 3pm to 11pm daily.

Many activities are available, from kimono and yukata costume rentals to games and workshops that include making origami, kokeshi doll bookmarks, kokeshi doll mini fans, kumihimo bracelets, tsunami zaiku accessories and sand art.

A Gift Tower is also an attraction, bursting with confetti that includes potential prizes to redeem throughout the night.

Performances on the main stage include the daiko performance (drums), anime performances with actors in full cosplay, and yosakoi soran dance. 

The opening ceremony including the presentation of a mock cheque of RM2,000 for the Lovely Disabled Home. Representatives for the organisers included Chairman of XOX NETWORKS Berhad, YM Tengku Ezuan Ismara Bin Tengku Nun Ahmad; Executive Director of XOX NETWORKS BHD, Mr. Koo Kien Keat; Financial Controller of XOX NETWORKS BHD, Ms. Audrey Thong; and Business Development Manager of Trumpet International, Mr. Jon-Neal.
