Vogue Lounge Kuala Lumpur welcomes you back

After a brief hiatus, Vogue Lounge Kuala Lumpur reopened on 1 December 2020 with a fresh menu and a new management team on board.

Vogue Lounge KL, in partnership with global media company, Condé Nast, first opened its doors in September 2019. Considering the recent challenges with the worldwide pandemic, Vogue Lounge KL is back stronger than ever and ready to delight diners with its exceptional cuisine, extensive drinks list, elegant ambience and more.

Here are 10 reasons why Vogue Lounge KL should be your next dining destination.

1. The Vogue Lifestyle
Vogue Lounge is not your average restaurant. An embodiment of the Vogue lifestyle, exemplifying high-end couture, luxurious style and sophistication, its fashion pedigree comes from its partnership with Condé Nast, the global media company that is home to some of the world’s leading titles, including fashion bible VOGUE magazine and branded properties including Vogue Cafes in Moscow, Porto, Kiev, Riyadh and Beijing, Vogue Restaurant in Istanbul and GQ Bar in Berlin. Vogue Lounge KL was also the Official Fashion Lounge for the Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week Digital 2020 held from 11 to 13 November 2020.

2. Safety First
Strict adherence to safety protocols and recommended standard operating procedures (SOPs) mean that you can dine in a safe and stylish environment at ease. Social distancing measures, temperature checks and limited capacity dining will ensure that your dining experience is safe, comfortable, and undisturbed. Food safety protocols follow the HACCP standards as an additional enhancement to our public health practices.

3. A Fresh Dining Experience
The newly conceptualised menu is a reflection of Eurasian and Asian-Med fusion fine dining with Japanese and French influences. Signature dishes include Hokkaido Sea Urchin with Carrot Puree, Dashi Jelly, Seaweed Melba and Mentaiko Cream; A4 Japanese Wagyu Broiled Ribeye with White Onions, Baby Leek, Porcini Powder and Black Garlic Jus; and Ginger Souffle with White Chocolate, Coconut and Lime Zest.

4. Extensive Drinks List
Kick off your evening with VOGUE Signature Cocktails such as Tokyo Fizz (Whiskey, Umeshu, Earl Grey Syrup), or Dark Moon (Vodka, Espresso, DOM Benedictine).
For wines and champagnes, try the Jean-Marc Brocard Chablis Grand Cru 'Les Clos' 2016, Burgundy (a complex wine with lots to discover and a long finish), the Red Granja Remelluri Gran Reserva 2009 (this Rioja Red Blend consists of layers of dried red fruit, prunes and coffee) and Collard Picard Cuvée Dom Picard Grand Cru Blanc de Blanc NV.

5. An Outstanding Head Chef
Responsible for the creation of the new menu is New Zealand-born, Australian-raised Head Chef Steve Arifin, who gained his qualifications from the Canberra Institute of Technology in Culinary Art. Highly experienced in Euro-Asian cuisine, he has extensive experience in prestigious fine dining restaurants in Southeast Asia and Europe.

6. In-House Sommelier & Bar Manager
Nikola Maksic hails from Serbia and holds a Master’s degree in Hospitality from the University of Novi Sad. A certified Wine Sommelier Level 3 and mixologist, he honed his experience while working in Europe and on cruise ships.

7. Privacy & Exclusivity
Sprawled over 18,500 square feet on the 38th floor and rooftop, the plush space comes with a lounge area for cosy conversations. For patrons who prefer to dine in privacy and comfort, The V Room can cater for up to 16 guests looking for an exclusive dining experience that could also include the preparation of an ad hoc degustation menu.

8. Instagrammable Interior Design
Every corner of the establishment has been thoughtfully designed to exude a distinctive style. From the VOGUE magazine covers neatly framed against the wall to the lofty, high floor-to-ceiling glass windows, LED platform-cum-runway and ultra-chic powder rooms, you’ll never run out of Instagrammable moments here.

9. An Unbeatable View From The Rooftop Bar
Bask in the glow of the evening sunset as you sip cocktails against the artistic backdrop of murals by multidisciplinary artist Thomas Powell and take in the breathtaking panoramic 360-degree view of the Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya skyline.

10. The Ideal Place For Special Occasions
From first dates to a romantic rendezvous, wedding anniversaries, birthdays, launches and special occasions, Vogue Lounge is THE place to celebrate intimately joyous, pleasurable moments with highly personalised service and attention to details.

Vogue Lounge KL is at Level 38, Menara SuezCap 1, KL Gateway, Jalan Kerinchi, Bangsar South, 59200 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Opening hours are from Mondays to Saturdays, 5pm to 12am (last order for restaurant at 9:30pm and bar food at 11pm), and closed on Sundays.
