With a nine-seat caffeine bar, lined with a remarkable rock garden landscape, PJ’s new Nonagon Roastery will soon offer an enthralling experience in a Japanese-inspired space of serenity.
Roasting its conscientious curation of beans, sustainably sourced from connections with coffee-cultivating communities, Nonagon Roastery is slated to open 31 January, the third day of the Lunar New Year.
Expect engaging flavour profiles from Nonagon’s terrifically welcoming team, potentially playing on long fermentation and perceptions of sweetness, served in customer-friendly forms.
Experimental treats might be available from time to time - a ‘Frosty Blossom’ of peach with tofu and yamaimo? Espresso kakigori with citrus oil syrup and coffee kanten? An ‘Afterrain Forest’ of Tanzanian Mbeya coffee with grapefruit, chrysanthemum and dill?
We’re eager for Nonagon to take shape, only a 15-minute walk from Paramount Garden. See you past the sliding doors.
