With dim sum served in colourful hues naturally dyed with butterfly pea flower and spinach, bearing cool names like the Pink Lady Dumplings and Gold Award Coriander Dumplings, it's clear that Tai Zi strives to offer an interesting take on this familiar genre. Prices are pretty reasonable, with a basket of steamed dumplings clocking in between RM5.50 to RM6.50 on average, the same cost for the honeycomb yam puffs and the 'Prawn Vs Char Siu' cheong fun. There's playful creativity in these efforts, though the final results could be fine-tuned for more satisfying flavours and textures that meet the mark for top-flight dim sum.
