Ipoh's top temptations take centre stage: The chicken rice relies on kampung chicken freshly brought in from Ipoh and bean sprouts from Buntong (RM11.50 for a portion with thigh and a lovely soup), the kai see hor fun showcases a recipe that's reputedly been served since the early eighties in one of Ipoh's old town kopitiams, prepared with a sweetly mellow, double-boiled soup base (RM11.50 for a special with a side of chicken drumstick meat), the chee cheong fun is silky with kitchen-made curry and plenty of toppings (RM8.90) and the white coffee is potently aromatic (RM4.50 for cold).
