One3Cafe’s Miri-born chef-founder, Rose, takes pride in the culinary pleasures of Sarawak, serving up signatures like the unmistakably aromatic Sarawak laksa (RM21.90 for the special with two market-fresh tiger prawns), traditional kelupis glutinous rice rolls with chicken curry (RM10) and nasi lemak made with slightly sticky Bario rice from the Kelabit Highlands (RM19.90). The food feels satisfyingly authentic, the space is soothingly agreeable, and service is sincerely amiable.
