The Hub Coffee Roaster marks its 10th-anniversary milestone this year, launching its seventh store in the Klang Valley, a beacon of coffee confidence at The LINC KL.
This lovingly conceived cafe conveys its founders' vision for a warm, uncluttered space, shaped by Wünderwall Design. Its centrepiece coffee bar fosters focus and flow, encouraging coffee brewed with soulful precision.
This is now the best place to experience The Hub's expertise, sharpened since 2015. The brand's senior baristas helpfully lead patrons through nearly 30 single-origin choices roasted by The Hub for filter and espresso-based coffees.
The new location also exclusively lets customers sample a rotation of three speciality beans via both espresso-based and hand-poured coffee, currently comprising the Ethiopian Gesha Village, Bolivian Finca Isabel and Colombian El Diviso.
Bolstered by creative pastries crafted by Bray Bakery, from sourdough pretzels to Nyonya kaya puff croissants and roti bom kouign-amann, this is the ideal destination in the city centre for satisfying sipping and snacking.

For an engaging exploration of how a single coffee bean can shine across different styles, try the El Diviso Bourbon Sidra Anaerobic Natural (Colombia) as both Filter Coffee and Flat White. With the strength and body to thrive in both expressions, it unveils harmonious notes of osmanthus, honey and cherry chocolate.
The Hub’s founders take their craft seriously, having journeyed through Japan, Thailand and the United States over the past decade to examine roasting techniques. They strive to preserve the balance of natural sweetness and elegantly layered intensity in their coffee without tipping into the bitterness of over-roasting.

Sample the Finca Isabel Geisha Lot 7 Washed (Bolivia) as an Iced Americano, underscoring how The Hub meticulously sources the finest coffee from throughout the globe. This blooms with floral and fruity notes, revealing hints of rose apples, lemongrass, guava and sugarcane.

The Hub's current house blend for espresso brews brings together Costa Rica and Honduras with the richness of plums, black cherries and milk chocolate, perfect for piccolo lattes.

Munch on the distinctive Sourdough Pretzels (laced with burnt butter and sea salt), one-of-a-kind Malaysian-French hybrids like Roti Bom Kouign-Amann and Nyonya Kaya Puff Croissants (which rely on the baker's grandmother's traditional kaya recipe) and intriguing innovations that harness local ingredients, such as croissants with Malaccan honey and pain au chocolat with Sabah's Kota Marudu cocoa.
