A creative cocktail bar in Chinatown, run by a bartender training school? Ethanol brings intoxicating intrigue to Petaling Street, propelled by the Penang-born Potion Lab Mixology Art Academy.

Ethanol’s concoctions are respectably rooted in culinary produce - When Garlic Meets Honey is our favourite so far, fusing London dry gin with fresh garlic, Manuka honey and orange marmalade, harmoniously balanced in its Van Helsing-meets-Paddington inspirations.

Aromatic East Asian creations include the gently spicy Gochujang Jjigae (reposado tequila with gochujang cordial and kesum leaves) and Umami (Swedish vodka with mirin rice wine, miso paste, teriyaki sauce and wasabi foam).
