Harley's Burgers and Roasters, Third Avenue Cyberjaya

Bringing together burgers from the West with coffee from the East, Harley's is worth hopping to for a bright, cheerful meal in Cyberjaya, combining a classic American-inspired fast food joint with a contemporary caffeine bar that specialises in China-cultivated beans.

Harley's has long nurtured a reputation for solid burgers in Taman Tun Dr Ismail and Damansara Heights' DC Mall, so its latest outpost in Cyberjaya extends that reputation southward to Sepang. 

Start with the signature 2x2 Burger (inspired by In-N-Out Burger's Double-Double), a diner-style double dose of Australian beef patties with the true texture of 100 percent freshly ground meat, grilled to order (RM15; A 'Cowboy' upgrade adds pickles, caramelised onions and mustard for RM2.50). If you're hungry enough, you can even build your own 3x3, 4x4 or 5x5 burgers; alternatively, more basic cheeseburgers are available, as are chicken and vegetarian burgers.

What makes Harley's Cyberjaya extra-distinctive is its coffee bar, furnishing an up-close look at the baristas and their work on six varieties of beans sourced from China and Myanmar. By default, a latte is brewed with the full-bodied, fruity Yunnan Peaberry highland Arabica (RM8.90).

If you have time to linger, try the filter coffees - the house recommendation is a pour-over with lightly chocolaty nuances (RM12). Syphon and French press coffee clock in at RM15 and RM13 respectively.
