












Botanical Arts Society is Yap Ah Shak House’s new homage to our forest heritage, a tasteful tropical terroir where nature’s palette powers plates and paintings.
Sage-green walls create a canvas for collages of lotus blooms and ginger flowers, caladiums and heliconias, their foliage fluttering with Great Mormon butterflies, by Sabah illustrator Tresyah Join.
Vibrant cuisine complements these verdant vignettes: Autumn arrives with baked portobello, beetroot, pumpkin, purple potato and spinach, while Greek gathers biftekia beef patties with cucumber, capsicum, olives, shallots, tomato, feta and balsamic.
Salmon toasts and strawberry trifles, Black Angus cottage pie and cream of Cameron corn complete the menu for this gastronomic gallery of flora and flavours.
