Tucked on the first floor of a Subang shop-house, Tiennielicious is a family-run cafe that's a labour of love, led by its founder Tien, who lives in this neighbourhood and is now pursuing her passion for baking after raising her daughter nearly to adulthood.
This space is meant to make customers feel at home, for them to relax and comfortably linger. While warm savoury meals such as pastas should be available soon, Tiennielicious is mainly a dessert parlour for now, seeking to reinterpret classic sweet treats. Its madeleines are denser and more decadently buttery than the norm, lemon-glazed for a balancing tang (RM5), while its tiramisu-in-a-cup is brightened with strawberries for a fruity flourish (RM16). Crowd-pleasing favourites like carrot cakes, thick and textured, are also available.
