Founded by an Alexandria-educated Egyptian, Nebu is Damansara Perdana’s friendly new space for Egyptian favourites: Koshari, the country's national dish, a comfort-food mix of macaroni, lentils, chickpeas, crispy onions and rice, complete with cumin-scented, tomato-tinged sauces; molokhiya, a sticky-savoury stewed broth of antioxidant-rich jute leaves, aromatic with garlic; and hawawshi, beautifully baked to order, featuring minced spiced beef, thickly and tenderly layered in dough.
