Hokkaido Table launches Business Lunch Set for RM49 nett in The Exchange TRX

One of the city centre's best choices for a corporate meal, Hokkaido Table in The Exchange TRX has launched its Business Lunch Set for RM49 nett, available on weekdays, 11am-3pm.

Choose one main course and one creative mocktail or juice - the selection showcases something for everyone, from succulent Black Angus Steak to Saba Don and Unagi Sushi Roll with Japanese-sourced mackerel and eel to Italian pasta favourites such as Prawn Aglio Olio and Fettuccine Basil Pesto with Mushrooms.

Hokkaido Table will please discerning patrons who love to mix business with pleasure. The selection is expected to evolve every month, so check out these July specials before the month ends!

Hokkaido Table's spacious setting is a delightful destination in downtown KL to escape the office. Casually and comfortably elegant, this is one of our favourite restaurants in this mall.

The Black Angus Steak is the best bet for carnivorous cravings, featuring a fabulously tender sirloin with balsamic-glazed grilled vegetables. The meat is brilliantly enhanced with beef jus that's patiently reduced over three days for a savoury-tangy richness. 

For fans of Japanese fare, the Saba Don is a sumptuous selection, a classic bowl topped with Japanese mackerel, house-blended teriyaki sauce and Japanese pickles over Japanese rice. The fish is fresh and flaky, chunky and clean-tasting, elevated with the sweet umami of the sauce.

The Unagi Sushi Roll is marvellous for munching on maki - it's a hearty roll with punchy flavours, gorgeously heaped with Japanese grilled eel in house-made unagi sauce, stuffed with Japanese cucumber, avocado, romaine lettuce and cream cheese. Great for gigantic appetites!

The Fettuccine Basil Pesto with Mushrooms is mouthwateringly herbaceous and earthy, surprisingly robust for a meat-free recipe, tossed with thick pesto, pine nuts, shiitake and button mushrooms, Parmesan cheese and garlic slices, worthy of an Italian trattoria.

The Prawn Aglio Olio is alluringly al dente: Spaghetti with the prominent taste of olive oil, generously loaded with large tiger prawns, plump and fleshy with cherry tomatoes, capers and chilli flakes. A crowd-pleaser, particularly for seafood pasta enthusiasts.

Beverages comprise soda-based non-alcoholic mocktails, refreshingly fruity:

Buntan Basil Smash (pomelo, lemon and coconut with basil and soda)
