This unique pop-up will take place in a purpose-built Glenlivet Bothy, evoking the rugged cottages of Scotland's remote mountains where The Glenlivet's founder, George Smith, first perfected his craft.
Welcoming guests until 6 August 2023, The Glenlivet Bothy is your doorway to discovering the secrets of the Scottish distillery that has run almost continuously for two centuries since 1824 in the Speyside region's idyllic Livet valley.

The Glenlivet Bothy experience coincides with the introduction of a limited-edition expression, The Glenlivet 12 Year Old Licensed Dram, honouring its heritage of consistently breaking traditions since its rebellious beginnings.

All the action will be focused on Level 2 of The Five, where guests will be whisked in spirit to Scotland's Livet valley inside The Glenlivet Bothy and taken on a stroll through the history of the brand as well as its painstaking production process.

The tasting flight is made up of a cocktail capsule inspired by The Glenlivet’s key whisky flavours, expertly concocted by The Five’s Rakh culinary cocktail bar, as well as a dram of The Glenlivet 12 Year Old Licensed Dram and iconic The Glenlivet 12 Year Old.

Matured in a combination of American and European oak, The Glenlivet 12 Year Old Licensed Dram heralds how The Glenlivet became the first official licensed Scotch whisky distillery (before that, founder George Smith operated while hidden from the watchful eyes of soldiers and customs officers).
In the 12 Year Old Licensed Dram, The Glenlivet’s fruity and floral style is intensified by first fill casks, characterised by rich flavours of honey and custard, layered smoothly with hazelnut and liquorice, with a long, slightly sweet finish.
This expression is a new addition to The Glenlivet's Original Stories series, following the release of The Glenlivet 12 Year Old Illicit Still.
