With a mural of Tram 28 travelling downhill, Aroma De Nata offers a Lisbon-loving backdrop for a teatime of pastries flown in from Portugal.
The top temptation is pastel de nata - the renowned egg tarts are produced and frozen in a family-owned factory near the Portuguese capital, finally reaching KL to be fully baked with their cinnamon-scented sweetness, flaky crust and custard centre intact (RM5.40 each).
Bacalhau buffs might try the salted codfish tart for a savoury treat that speaks of the sea (RM6.30), while fruit fans can munch on a pie with a stuffing of rich-as-jam guava paste and cheese (RM6.90).
