Dish @ Dua Residency, Tun Razak

Heading to Delicious' new fine-dining outlet _ a gorgeous space in the heart of the city for a relaxing weekday dinner after work.

Dish briefly served dinners for one week back in December, but it stopped before reopening this week. There are fewer than 10 tables here, so reservations are recommended.

Slow confit of salmon on a bed of arugula & grapefruit, served with sundried tomato relish. Great for whetting the appetite; the portion is enough for two to share.

Roasted bone marrow with capers, parsley salsa and baguette. Order this (and enjoy!) only if you're not concerned about skyrocketing cholesterol levels.

Lobster omelette drenched with a cognac-infused lobster bisque. Absolutely brilliant; hands-down, our favourite dish for the evening. A perfectly smooth egg omelette wrapped around chunks of moist lobster, surrounded by a sumptuously thick bisque.

Pan-fried foie gras on toasted brioche with red grapes and a muscat wine reduction. Utter decadence; we felt slightly guilty _ but very good _ after devouring this.

Potato gnocchi tossed with wild mushrooms, burnt butter, sage and truffle oil. This would actually be ideal as an accompaniment to a meat dish, but it failed to shine as a main course.

Australian Black Angus Grass-fed Ribeye, cooked blue. More than 600 grams of a carnivore's dream come true. No complaints from us omnivores either.

Black Forest Pavlova with whole dark cherries and Bailey's whipped cream. Marvelous; perhaps even better than Alexis' version.

Earl Grey Cream. Reminiscent of creme brulee, infused with the full flavour of tea.

Corte Viola Valpolicella (Italy). A real steal for only around RM 60.
