Amuleto @ Mid Valley

Amuleto has a favourable setting & friendly service, but the food seems subpar.

Seafood paella. Not enough seafood and scarcely any flavour of saffron.

Charbroiled T-bone steak with red wine garlic sauce. The kitchen probably did the best it could, but the meat itself was hopeless to begin with. Way too tough and not quite fresh.

Gossips Shiraz and Oreo Vanilla Milkshake.

Amuleto,

  3. Their weirdly laminated menus with horrid food photography is a dead giveaway! That said, this is one of the few places in the area with a decent wine list and I'm afraid that has suckered me into becoming a repeat patron... *shame*
