Soft-launching in Pavilion KL, On Lee Noodle Malaysia marks the first international offshoot of Hong Kong’s On Lee Noodle Shop, a stalwart of steamy comfort since 1966.
Six decades of noodle know-how, still going strong in HK’s Shau Kei Wan neighbourhood, are embodied by a bowl flanked with faithful favourites: Fish cakes, fish balls and cuttlefish balls with a firm bite and full-bodied seafood flavour, crafted in On Lee’s own Pavilion kitchen. Round out the meal with prawn-pork wontons.
Beef brisket noodles are another signature, slow-braised to gelatinous soulfulness, capped with boneless short ribs, speaking of soulful tradition. Choose from rice noodles, thick noodles or thin noodles, also made in-house, slick, supple and slurp-worthy, stir-fried or in beef broth steeped with pork bones, fish and dried shrimp, bringing a HK legacy to luscious life in KL.
