Promising some enchanted evening, Tickets Bar takes inspiration from the bright lights of Broadway and wicked ways of The West End, emerging as a cocktail bar that'll evolve like a theatre, reshaping its repertoire as often as the Gielgud might change its latest production. Dress rehearsals have dragged on longer than expected for Tickets Bar's home, Damansara Heights' new Republik F&B enclave, but finally, the show must go on.
Tickets Bar's current programme builds a wall around the Mexican spirits tequila and mezcal, blending everything from Ocho Blanco, Espolon Blanco and hazelnut fat-washed Herradura Reposado (the trio of tequilas) and Meteoro Joven (the mezcal marvel) with ingredients that span port-pomegranate-chipotle reduction to agave nectar and Angostura bitters, roasted pineapple to melon, lemon and blueberries (RM40-RM55 per signature cocktail, each potent enough to make us hear the music of the night). To further investigate the world of tequilas, mezcals and all that jazz, tasting flights are also available.
Fun fact: This friendly venue is staged by the same showrunners behind Chinatown's PS150.
