Bukit Jalil's welcoming new Japanese-inspired cafe, Kame Kafe specialises in shokupan and shiropan sandos, plus dango and daifuku, noodles and nitro tea.
Kame Kafe bakes two types of milk loaves - shokupan for savoury fillings like chicken nanban with egg salad or pork katsu with coleslaw, as well as the more pillowy shiropan 'angel white' bread for sweet stuffings such as strawberries with honey cream or peach with oolong cream.
These make for hearty sandwiches - the chicken nanban is thick, tender and tasty, while the strawberries with honey cream prove loaded with lots of berries, indulgent with luscious cream.
Hot meals of black garlic tonkotsu ramen, kake soba and ochazuke are also available. Also try the tricolour dango with sweet soy sauce and kinako, paired with silky nitro-infused hojicha.
