Mont Kiara's friendly new Korean-Chinese restaurant offers an exploration of a cuisine whose cross-cultural roots stretch back more than a century.
For a fast, fuss-free lunch, we relished the Japchae Bab, a best-of-both-worlds plate of steamed rice with stir-fried glass noodles, smooth and sweet-savoury with a full-bodied bite, satisfying with Earl Grey and baijiu-spiked whiskey highballs.
The menu, to be expanded soon, spans kkanpunggi spicy glazed fried chicken to tangsuyuk sweet-sour pork, jjamppong tang seafood soup to the familiar jjajangmyeon soul-food noodles in black bean sauce.
