Joanne began baking these brownies as she often found that the brownies available out there were not to her liking - too dry, sweet, over-baked or cakey. She then tried making brownies herself; after months of experimentation, she finally decoded a recipe that's well-balanced in taste and texture. While these were initially baked for family and friends, she began her home bakery journey after receiving words of encouragement.
Officially launched in 2021, Joanne's Bakery specialises in brownies in different flavours, including the newly introduced hazelnut brownie.
The foundation for each brownie is 70% imported dark chocolate, its natural bitterness balanced by the right amount of sugar, sufficient for a sleek sheen of moderate sweetness, baked with Joanne's trusted oven for consistent results.
Carefully cut into bite-sized chunks, they're indulgent without being too sweet, crafted with completely halal ingredients.

The Original (RM28 for 5”, RM52 for 8”) is a classic, beautifully perfected, laced with chocolate chips, lightly crisp to the bite, lovably luscious to the chew. If you adore decadent brownies, it doesn't get much better than this!

Mint Chocolate (RM32 for 5”, RM60 for 8”) is a relatively unconventional flavour for brownies – it pops with a refreshing minty uplift, thanks to mint chocolate chips inside the brownie and lashings of mint chocolate sauce on the surface.
Just in time for Christmas 2022, Joanne’s Bakery has unveiled its latest temptation – this Chocolate Hazelnut brownie is a surprise. Instead of using sugar-loaded Nutella, Joanne's bakery harnesses 100% hazelnut paste mixed with 70% dark chocolate for a pure, pleasurable nuttiness, rounded out with large chunks of toasted hazelnuts. A brilliant brownie for the festive season! Currently only available in 5”, each box of the Chocolate Hazelnut brownie is priced very reasonably at RM36.
