Stepping into TREC KL during the day is now a sobering reminder of how many restaurants have closed here since 2015. But one has its lights on to keep the faith - MingMom Chinese Cuisine, scarcely a month old, braves the silence of this enclave to serve casual Chinese comfort fare. A bowl of pork lard rice (RM12.90) with mala chicken (RM20.90) makes for a pleasant lunch that crowds of customers would flock for in most other neighbourhoods.
