The Humboldt Co is Bukit Damansara's tantalising new thematic bar with South American inspirations.
Its name is inspired by the ocean current that flows from Chile, reflected in walls that nod to Humboldt penguins and a striking back bar that simultaneously evokes the geometric contours of Antarctic icebergs and the sandy orange hues of Peru's coastal deserts.
Chilcano is one of our favourite cocktails this year, sharpening the floral Chilean El Gobernador Pisco with triple ginger, apple cider vinegar, mustard, citrus and carbonation.
For a more mellow mood, Anisada is a nectarous comforter of Tanqueray No. 10 Gin with Aperol, fig, eucalyptus and honey. Low-proof and zero-proof drinks are also available.
Food should be available soon this month, with potential highlights like rabbit prepared in the style of South American guinea pigs.
