If you love local cafes with character and charm, check out Cinta & Kopi, new in Kampung Pandan, helmed by a husband-and-wife team with welcoming warmth.

Previously a pop-up, Cinta & Kopi now has its own physical space, partly inspired by the slow brew bars of Indonesia and Japan, lined with posters of humorous and encouraging messages. Personal touches include the beautiful custom-built hardwood espresso bar.

Soft, scrumptious scrambled egg bagels, roti bakar Bandung with kaya and butter, and mango chilli chicken tenders make for a crowd-pleasing menu, complete with coffee, matcha and tea.

KL’s latest Italian restaurant is a stylish, sprawling space on the nineteenth floor of the new Hyatt Centric City Centre Kuala Lumpur, complete with an alfresco terrace - highlights include Neapolitan pizzas baked with 36-hour dough for 90 seconds at 430 degrees Celsius in a Naples-built oven reputedly hand-crafted from volcanic stones.
