TTDI’s new Betawi boasts an Indonesian-inspired selection that spans bebek Betawi to Maranggi beef sate, Lombok-style ayam Taliwang to ikan bobor bayam and pepes jamur panggang bambu.

Bebek Betawi is for duck devotees, braised in Sumatran spices, cooked with coconut milk for a lip-smacking lusciousness, sultry and succulent.

Maranggi Beef Sate is fleshy and fatty, thick and tender, sweet-savoury with a gorgeous marinade and grilled char, served with a sambal kecap soy sauce dip of tomatoes and chillies. Commandingly carnivorous.

Wash down with traditional Indonesian drinks - Wedang Uwuh is a Javanese herbal beverage, aromatic with herbaceous leafy notes, while Bir Pletok is a delicious heritage classic that speaks delicately of ginger, pandan and lemongrass.
