Curio Cafe, Muzium Negara

After exploring the exhibits at Muzium Negara, we enjoyed locally inflected refreshments at this cosy cafe outside the ticketing entrance. Frosty cendol with plenty of kidney beans was an antidote for even the most humid afternoon, while boba-laced fresh milk made nectarous with gula Melaka brought together Taiwan and Malaysia in a sweetly soothing beverage. Local black coffee was also available; we added a splash of coconut milk for a creamy tropical infusion to the kopi ais.

This visit and all photos taken were from early March 2020. We hope Curio Cafe will be able to reopen soon.
