Set to launch next month, Monk is Subang’s upcoming cosy jazz corner, serving coffee, tea and cakes while Thelonious Monk spins on the turntable.
Snack on house-baked French sliced apple cake, lusciously layered with a full-bodied ripe-fruit bite, and citron tart with curd that melts soothingly in the mouth, while sipping sharply invigorating shiso lemonade.
Monk is a beautifully built space for thoughtful listening and lingering, inspired by the intimate spirit and soul of Japan’s jazz kissas, lined with over 200 records with a repertoire from Blue Moon to Paper Moon, powered by the passionate people behind Atap by Pagi Coffee Co.
