Typica has been reborn, now in a new home as Dou Yuan in Pandan Indah.
Longtime devotees of drip coffee in KL will recall Typica’s roots at its previous outposts in Pudu and Ampang.
Hearteningly, show-runners Sum and Yaw both remain dedicated to their craft at Dou Yuan, a rustic space brimming with beans and paraphernalia like a drum roaster.
On selected days, Dou Yuan is open in the afternoon for walk-ins, serving steaming-hot, soothing cups of its own roasts. Check @douyuan_coffee for the current calendar.
