Leonardo's Dining Room @ Bangkung, Bangsar

A worthy successor to what was once the Attic, but its long-term prospects seem uncertain. More than ever, there's so much competition on this street for the same customers.

Foie gras with berry compote and glazed endive. What's not to like, right?

Waldorf salad, with granny smith apples, turnip, grapes, walnuts and fruit cheese. A terrific mix, with the added advantage of being a fairly healthy dish.

Bacon-wrapped boiled salmon with spinach. Magnificently moist.

  4. but they're cannibalizing each other's business! and when you take the tasting room and tea for two into account, that's five places there that cater to basically the same clientele!
uh huh. i sometimes worry that some people might kick up a real fuss someday and cause foie gras to be permanently banned in malaysia.
issit? but as long as you guys are still able to leave comments in the end, i'm happy. :P

  5. Yeah, I agree... too much of the same thing in that little Bangkung dining enclave. But if this is owned by the Cava & Opus folks, it should be two notches up from Tea for Two.
