Suagu, Seri Kembangan

Reaching this hidden rooftop bar isn't for the fainthearted - find the back-alley entrance, then climb three flights of a narrow spiral staircase. Suagu rewards the effort nonetheless, with a lovely space where you can watch the sun set over Seri Kembangan.

Pair some skewers of chicken, baby corn, bacon-wrapped sausages and other snacks with a strong selection of craft beers from around the world, including some interesting Estonian and Norwegian ones.

Le Petit Beret: Innovative non-alcoholic beverages, from the grapevines of France to the gourmets of Malaysia

Here's a drink that everyone can raise their glass to: Le Petit Beret offers non-alcoholic beverages conceived by French Muslim engineers in collaboration with a top French sommelier, creating a genuine drink from the vine without alcohol, without fermentation, without artificial flavours.

These 0.0%-alcohol beverages - from the Rosé Gris to the Muscat Doux - hail from the vineyards of Languedoc-Roussillon in southern France, with a wine-making heritage that stretches back centuries, courtesy of a Mediterranean climate and plenty of soil.

Le Petit Beret won the Coup de Pousse contest for innovative agri-food startups in 2015 and has steadily become more globally available and respected - it recently earned the first non-alcoholic silver medal awarded at the competition of Oenologists of France Vinalies 2021.

Now, Le Petit Beret offers all Malaysians a new range of beverages for pairing with food or for savouring on their own.

Need a bold Pinot Noir to complement a steak? Or a dry Chardonnay with citrus notes to sip with fresh fish? Le Petit Beret's beverages can enhance your dining experiences with flavour profiles fine-tuned over years of research by combining various grapes and berries.

Low in sugar and calories, crafted with organic ingredients, these preservative-free beverages have  become a favourite among health-conscious drinkers. You'll find Le Petit Beret in hotels in Paris and London, a testament to the respect for its pedigree and production, from the grape harvesting and filtration to the racking and bottling.

Many non-alcoholic beverages are made by fermenting the drink like a regular wine, then removing the alcohol at the end of the process. Le Petit Beret sidesteps the fermentation entirely, ensuring that alcohol is never involved at any point.

A convivial introduction to Le Petit Beret is the Rose Gris (RM96), easy-drinking with light floral notes, woven with citrus scents and subtle smokiness. It makes for a match with everything from seafood salads to pasta, as well as Asian-influenced dishes like shrimp curry and lemongrass chicken.

The Muscat Doux (RM88) sparkles for a meal-finishing treat, soft and delicate with fresh nuances of pineapples and lychee, the perfect pairing for fruits and desserts. Get a glass out while having a lemon meringue pie or strawberries with cream - no hangovers or red faces, guaranteed!

Le Petit Beret Malaysia stocks eight varietals for every occasion, from the bubbly Profil Blanc De Blancs to the berry-heavy Profil Cabernet Sauvignon; the zesty Profil Chardonnay to the cherry-forward Profil Pinot Noir; the Profil Sauvignon for an alluring aperitif to the Profil Muscat Doux that's capable of complementing everything from foie gras terrine to chicken with quince.

HappyFresh Malaysia: Making merry meals with healthy, made-in-Italy ingredients

Buon appetito! HappyFresh Malaysia has launched the 'Eat Healthy, Taste Italy' campaign in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency in Kuala Lumpur, showcasing hundreds of authentic Italian food products for health-conscious consumers seeking quality ingredients.

From extra virgin olive oil to white truffle pate, plum tomatoes to borlotti beans, you'll find a vast variety of made-in-Italy ingredients to bring beautiful flavours to your meal. The ingredients are easy to prepare, ideal if you lead a busy life but enjoy cooking, especially Italian recipes.

In a recent interview with Eat Drink KL, Dr. Filippo Fusaro, the Trade Commissioner of the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) in Kuala Lumpur, highlighted the huge health benefits of Italian ingredients that represent the Mediterranean diet. "Malaysians, as foodies, are aware of what they consume," Dr. Fusaro said. "The Italian ingredients and products that are being imported and introduced into Malaysia are a means towards a healthy lifestyle."

You can now conveniently discover a Made-in-Italy section while shopping online on HappyFresh. These products are guaranteed to be genuinely Italian.

"The hope is that Malaysians are able to tell the difference between authentic Italian brands and Italian-sounding brands," Dr Fusaro told EDKL.

"The challenge is that a lot of times, there are products that are not authentically Italian, but they have Italian-sounding names - like Parmesan cheese that’s made elsewhere instead of Italy," Dr Fusaro said. "What we want is for people to make wise and informed decisions."

Download the HappyFresh app to start shopping for Made-in-Italy ingredients today, enjoying same-day delivery and personal shoppers. Follow HappyFresh on social media for Italian recipes too.

The BELI Mart grocery stores will retail a selection of frozen seafood and meat, fresh fruits and vegetables, condiments, ready-to-eat and ready-to-cook products.

Customers can look forward to an assortment of food supplies at competitive prices and quality, fresh produce sourced directly from local producers, and enjoy the grab-and-go convenience of shopping in a neighbourhood store.

“Apart from the e-commerce platform and Facebook Live selling, we are expanding with multiple physical stores and looking to open up to 50 stores within the next two years in high-density suburban neighbourhoods throughout the country.
