Cantina Pasta e Vino is Taman Desa’s friendly new cavern for fresh hand-crafted pasta - choices span the Italian and the American Carbonara, both featuring tagliatelle, the first traditionally tossed here with egg yolk, guanciale, Grana Padano and Sarawak black pepper, the latter saucier with creme fraiche, smoked pancetta, peas and sautéed mushrooms. Other modern-minded options in this stylish neighbourhood space include tortelli stuffed with smoked salmon ricotta, cushioned with tomato salsa, crispy breadcrumbs and pomodoro sauce. Cured cuts and wine are available too.
