Corus Hotel Kuala Lumpur: Christmas & New Year Buffets

With Santa, reindeer, gingerbread houses and candy canes galore, the stage is set for Christmas to unfurl in the heart of the city, at Corus Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The hotel's flagship Dondang Sayang Coffee House will host A Christmas Story buffet meals on Christmas Eve for dinner and on Christmas Day for high tea, complementing a schedule filled with fun, including carol performances, a magic show, lucky draw, photo opportunities with Mr Claus, a Christmas movie screening and more.

Dondang Sayang's chef Nizam brings nearly three decades of professional experience to the plate, spearheading an expanded Christmas Eve dinner buffet of some 90 specialities. The traditional, tenderly roasted turkey is this season's can't-miss pleasure, packed with a chestnut stuffing infused with fresh herbs, apples, carrots and celery, paired with cranberry and giblet sauces.

The turkey is also available to order for takeaway at RM250 nett for a 3.5-kilogram portion, inclusive of roasted potatoes, seasonal vegetables and the two sauces (add on RM48 nett for every extra kilogram).

Festive Christmas desserts are also part of the buffet and can also be ordered to bring home to your loved ones, with Fruit Cakes, Stollen and Chocolate Cakes among the highlights for a feast with family and friends. Dondang Sayang's fare is halal, so these cheerful celebratory treats can be conveniently shared with everyone.

Other top temptations expected for the buffet dinner include the unique Otak-Otak Wellington (a Malaysian twist on Beef Wellington), Prawn Thermidor, Braised Lamb Osso Bucco, Pesto Vegetables and Potato Gratin - something for everybody, with much more to be revealed on Christmas Eve.
