This cavernous restaurant offers BKT all day long in air-conditioned comfort.
Pai kut (ribs) and Sum Chan Bah (belly). Excellent texture; the ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, while the pork belly was wonderfully fatty.
Sui Kut Tao and stomach. The menu offers more than a dozen choices of pork parts. Only one quibble: the broth was warm and tasty, but lacked a herbal flavour.
Yu Mark (veggies with oyster sauce). A crisp, healthy choice.
Pao Xiang Bak Kut Teh,
Pavilion.
BKT is my absolute favourite food in the whole wide world! With the rent they are paying for the top floor of Pavillion, it better be good.
ReplyDeleteaugustdiners: yeah, a bowl of bkt that's well done is the perfect meal! hope this place survives, cos it's hard to find good bkt at such a convenient location.
ReplyDeleteI always sweat when I eat BKT...since I go to all the hot and stuffy places! The meats look good, especially the belly and ribs. =D
ReplyDeletebangsar-babe: this place is a great alternative, since it's not stuffy at all! yeah, love the meat. we devoured EVERY bit of it :D
ReplyDeleteShould have try this place last fri but was not free! Ceh, you're ahead of me again!
ReplyDeleteeiling: ooh actually they do have outlets at a few other malls, including 1 utama...
ReplyDeleteMmmmm....I would LOVE to try those fatty bits SOOOON!
