Sanook had a promising menu for a recent Guinness-infused food promo. But its friendly service and serene lakeside setting couldn't compensate for the flaws in its food.
Mille-feuille filled with prawns, calamari and mussels cooked with Guinness, braised baby spinach and sweet cilantro mango mojo. Contained tiny bits of seafood that could scarcely be tasted in the ketchup-like gravy.
Chicken thigh stuffed with black truffle & foie gras, finished with Guinness white foam. A hearty portion that was artfully presented, but the Guinness foam was nowhere to be found.
The Guinness affogato looks good ..YummY^^
