Ecoba @ PJ Trade, Damansara Perdana

Click here for earlier entry on Ecoba (April 9).

Seafood kerabu. A surprisingly tasty Thai-inspired concoction, comprising lots of fresh prawns, mussels, squid and fish. Piquant but not too spicy.

Spaghetti aglio olio with prawns. Unmemorable. Not quite al dente.

Fish & chips. A hearty serving, but a crisp batter would have made it better.

Beef ribs. Too chewy to recommend. Could have done without the chili sauce.

Still no cocktails or wine here this week, but beer remains ever-present.

  3. I still remember the first time we went there. The owners/staff were really nice. A pity about the average food. The place has a lot of potential.

  4. lemongrass: the staff members are still genuinely warm and friendly! but yeah, i think they're content with dishing out merely average food. maybe the majority of their customers won't mind..

  15. Lousy food and the waiters were eager to serve all the dishes you ordered in go so that they can have you out in one go.The highlight of my visit was a live bug seen in my Pasta, when showed to the waiter,he took the pasta inside the kitchen and in exactly 30 second came back with the same plate without the bug....Hmmmmm Magic !!! Cigarette selling girls were annoying, they started selling Marlboro's even before you sat on your chair. Great location but wont fly if the service is like this...Complete Disappointment !
