O'Quay's

Taking over from Finnegan's at Telawi, this cleverly named pub marks the expansion of Ronnie Quay's mini-empire (he also runs RonnieQ).

We were handed a menu completely confined to snacks. This pork platter _ comprising sausages, ham and other smoky stuff _ proved super-salty. Left us thirsty at bedtime.

Cherry brandy & cointreau.
Meanwhile, debate is still raging on about how to best pronounce O'Quay's. Oh-Keys? Oh-Kays? Oh-Kways? Like the good folks at Time Out KL, I'm betting on the last one.

O'Quay's,
Jalan Telawi 5, Bangsar Baru, Kuala Lumpur.
