Arakataka @ Oslo, Norway

Seasonal Norwegian produce rises to the occasion at this purveyor of globally inspired small plates; each dish promises a flood of fun & a few surprises - chanterelles with smoked sour cream & tarragon; Arctic char with cucumber, sesame seeds & chillies; wild halibut with teriyaki sauce & bonito flakes; lightly seared beef with artichokes; razor clams with grains & parsley; veal sweetbread with tartar sauce; breaded quail with forest mushrooms; & Munkeby cheese made by the monks of Levanger.

Arakataka, Oslo, Norway.

I stop in from the yum list and if you find the time stop in for a cup of coffee.

    1. Dora: that's a good question! Those were some local Norwegian beans, I believe, but I didn't manage to identify them. They were quite deliciously prepared ;)
