The Culpeper & Bird On A Wire @ Auckland, New Zealand

Fowl play: Checking out a couple of Auckland venues that put their own successful spin on poultry - The Culpeper, a harbour hangout where boneless slices of buttermilk-fried crunchy duck with honey & pink peppercorn glaze are a can't-stop-munching pleasure, perfectly partnered with a Rhubarb & Strawberry Fizz cocktail (Ketel One vodka, fresh rhubarb, strawberry jam) ...

... & Bird On A Wire, a 'free-range rotisserie' where Rangitikei-raised chooks come with a choice of baste such as truffle butter, a decadent delight served hot, showcasing succulent, sweet-savoury flesh & commandingly crisp skin - chicken done right.

The Eat Drink KL mobile app is now available, connecting restaurants & customers to promote a positive spirit of community.
Every restaurant on this app rewards users with a 6 percent discount, instantly & conveniently, everyday, all day long.
In return, users share photos of their experiences at these eateries, creating a new community of restaurant lovers.
For every transaction, at least RM0.10 will be channelled to a charity of the month.

  1. Ahhhh!!! The wooden paddle! Just mentioned that in my blogpost a couple of days ago. Great for anyone who has been naughty and is in for a spanking. Ouch! Ouch! LOL! Not to sure where exactly that is - is it at the waterfront?

  2. Omg, this brings back memories of my time in Auckland! I like the cafe's motto in serving delicious yet sustainable food, it shows that it is an environmental friendly company. =)

This must go into my list of places to go if/when I visit Auckland in the future.
