DaYung's Tea Malaysia

Fans of tea-based beverages have a tantalising new destination - Taiwanese brand DaYung's Tea, which runs more than 200 outposts in East Asia, has embarked into Malaysia, with branches now open in Sunway Putra Mall, Paradigm Mall, & by mid-May, Sunway Pyramid, perfect for a convenient splash of ice-cold, aromatic liquid sustenance while shopping.

The concept here is wholesome & imaginative - DaYung's jasmine green tea & assam black tea are mixed with freshly squeezed pure fruit juices, enabling customers to enjoy both the best of tea & fruits in one invigorating drink. Beverages are all prepared to order - you can see the selection of luscious-looking fruits at the counter, waiting their turn to be selected & sliced. Flavours are capably balanced, with the taste of tea & fruits shining through, with textures that prove comfortably thick.

The selection is extensive, with pretty much something for everyone - you'll find a gulp-worthy Signature Selection that includes Kumquat Juice with Chia Seeds & Aloe Vera or Grapefruit Juice with Chopped Aloe Vera, as well as a Fruit Tea repertoire of Lemon Green Tea or Passion Fruit Green Tea, an Icy Crunchy smoothie range featuring Cherry Tomato or Mango, a Yakult medley with Lemon, Kiwi or Passion Fruit, a Vinegar-based collection with Apple Cider or Cranberry, as well as Milk Tea options with Pearls or Green Tea, & many more. Prices are reasonable for these substantial servings, starting from RM6.50 to RM11. Customers can choose a specified sugar & ice content in each beverage to boost their shot at satisfaction.

Our favourites include Dayung's Signature Fruit Tea, served with a spoon to scoop out the slices of crunchy, juicy fruit within. For a nutrition-packed pick, check out the Passion Fruit Green Tea with Grapefruit, a textured treat with plenty of pleasurable pulp. The Mango Smoothie is lovely too, creamy & laden with morsels of ripe mango. If you'd like to try something different, the Cherry Tomato Smoothie makes for unconventional fun, with a tangy flavour that perks up the palate. Or try the crowd-rousing Pearl Milk Tea, with lots of tiny tapioca balls that showcase an enjoyable chew. Thanks to DaYung's Tea for having us here.
