8 Jugra @ Off Old Klang Road

8 Jugra's chief allure is its unique setting, evoking a restaurant in a cottage, balanced somewhere between rustic & elegant. Its Italian-dominated menu comes close to competent - gnocchi with pork salami in gorgonzola sauce (RM26), a four-cheese pizza (RM28; camembert, mozzarella, parmesan & gorgonzola) & spice-simmered lamb shank with herb-infused rice (RM32).

  1. Oh, I can see that the pizza is ultra thin until it topples downwards on the sheer weight of the cheese! :D

    1. Contact.ewew: it was sort of a thin crust type indeed, though on this occasion, not quite with that wood-fire kind of char that you might be craving :)

    1. Leo: oh, wine prices here are moderate - rm100-plus per bottle. Unfortunately there's a corkage of about rm20 or rm30 for your own bottle ...

    2. RM20-30 corkage.. I can live with that! Some establishments charge as high as RM50-100 per bottle which is such a turn off...
