Farewell to Glass City: This space in Sri Petaling was once a burgeoning settlement for F&B businesses, but it's since been razed for alternative development. Gone are Minamotonoya, a winsome cafe for tasty pork chop sandwiches, pastas & the unabashedly cute water mochi cake (thankfully though, Minamotonoya eventually relocated in another section of Sri Petaling) ...
... Mtam Viet for Vietnamese street food, like broken rice with grilled pork & egg ...
... & Izumi Fish Market for frozen seafood to purchase home.
very beautiful pictures. ohmy.. look at the cakes! made to perfection.
ReplyDeleteIrvine: thx - those cakes were pretty delicious :)
DeleteLovely note holders, so very cute.
ReplyDeleteUmmm...what's broken rice? Seems to be gaining popularity, getting to hear a lot about it these days. In the past, if it was broken rice, broken as in bits and not whole grain, that type would be a whole lot cheaper - not something people in general would go for.
Suituapui: yeah, I can never resist photographing cute accessories ;) the broken rice in Vietnamese dishes is pretty much what you're referring to - damaged, cheaper rice :)
DeleteArgh...my favourite unagi, it's been awhile since my last had it!
ReplyDeleteChoi Yen: hope you get some good eel this month! :D
