The Astor Bar, Como, Ah Fatt Tyre Shop, Piano Bar, Bora Bora, Nouveau 7

Custom-made panels glide open to reveal the entrance to The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur's flagship bar, an imposing scene made luxurious with marble, brass & leather, showcasing the sultry sophistication of signature cocktails like The Rat Pack Rusty Nail (RM65; a theatrics-filled tribute to Sinatra & Co - Maker's Mark Bourbon, Drambuie, triple sec & bitters, imbued with the depth of smoked hickory), materialising with a vaporous introduction at the table.

  1. Ah Fatt Tyre Shop has closed down? What a pity! Very interesting concept. I love those old school circular bamboo chairs, had those once. That St Regis must be a very high class hotel, judging from the bar. I would stick out like a sore thumb. :(

    1. Suituapui: yeah, it was pretty unique - love how they took the effort to source all those automotive-related ornaments especially ;) i think you'd be fine at the st regis la! :)

  2. Oh... I think I might need some new tyres... and a cocktail to go with them. ;-)

    1. The Yum List: haha, quite an unconventional pairing of concepts ;)

  3. Oh, your cocktail fund sure takes you places! LOL!

    1. Phong Hong: haha, yes, I need to stretch it as far as I can! ;)

  4. St. Regis is already opened? The last I was in KL City, it was still being developed. =O I'm not a big fan of bars, but I sure am keen in Astor. =)

    1. Ciana: yeah, st regis has been up and running for a couple of months now! i did like the astor bar ... it's the kind of elegant hotel bar with comfortable seating you can really sink into for the night :D

  5. 4 different bar with 4 different environment.
The Astor Bar, definitely looking so 'atas'.

    1. Melissa: yeah, it's nice to explore these different bars ... a fun way to spend the evening :D
