Stani & Fresko Yoghurt Bars @ Athens, Greece

Athens has long had a passionate love affair with yoghurt - you'll find traditional Greek yoghurt at venerable establishments such as Stani, a family-run business since 1931, where customers indulge in sheep milk yoghurt with honey & nuts alongside sticky-sweet 'kaimaki' mastic ice ceam ...

... as well as younger-looking yoghurt bars, which pair classic Greek yoghurt, thick & rich, with a choice of caramel-like fir honey & nuts or 'spoon sweets' (preserves made with sun-ripened fruits, in flavours like quince, plum & black cherries).

A bit of running after the yoghurt?
