The Milkshake Factory is bringing all the boys (and girls) to Jalan P. Ramlee's yard, charging cheap rates for a choice range of blended beverages.
Two flavors of milkshakes, topped with whipped cream: on the left, mixed with a Mars candy bar, and on the right, with Famous Amos chocolate chip cookies. OK, so they look exactly alike, but thankfully, both taste distinctively different.
Another two for the road: Ferrero Rocher & Kellogg's Pop-Tarts Ice Cream Shoppe Hot Fudge. The shakes here _ made-to-order _ sure hit the spot. Sumptuous but not sickeningly sweet; rich and creamy but not excessively thick and icy.
The long list of other milkshake varieties available here is absolutely alluring. Sneak a peek at the candy stash below.
Let's wrap up with some good news: this factory might soon open at Pavilion too.
The Milkshake Factory,
Jalan P. Ramlee.
Ohhh i luv milkshakes! The way you describe it makes it sounds like it's perfect, not too sweet, not thick.. hmhmm!
ReplyDeletetng: ya, i have a feeling that we'll be seeing quite a few milkshake joints cropping up all over kl this year! :D
ReplyDeletethat's an enviable candy stash! Such a good idea to go on an icy cold path esp with this heat.
ReplyDeleteBoo: oh yeah, I can imagine tourists and passers-by stopping here for refreshments in the afternoon! The place also sells fruit smoothies for anyone who can't take milk =)
ReplyDeletewooo, sugar overdose looking at all these sweets!
ReplyDeleteWahaha.. This post has made that silly Milkshake song pop in my head. :)
ReplyDelete(Funny how ur posts often make me think of music/ songs... )
This is outside fahrenheit right?!
ReplyDeleteMy milk shake brings all the boys to the yard,
ReplyDeleteand they're like, it's better than yours,
Damn right it's better than yours,
I can teach you, but I have to charge...
But for you, bro, got discount wan. LOL
so happy to see M&M's and Maltesers there! Why you didn't order M&M's toppings?!!
ReplyDeletejoe: ya, imagine actually trying to eat all of them! hehe :D
ReplyDeletej: that's nice to hear, since i'm a pop music addict (though my taste leans toward the cheesier songs. i'll try to make you think of a debbie gibson or nkotb number next time) =)
michelle: oh, nope, it's actually closer to klcc. near a lot of clubs...
lfb: discount, why do i merit a discount ... does that mean i'll get an inferior product/service ar ... heheh...
eiling: oh, too many choices, and there were only two of us! i love mars bars, so that had to be my number one option! :D
Uhm, how about a surcharge for you, then? LOL
ReplyDeletelfb: i wouldn't pay a surcharge unless i know exactly what extra stuff i'd be getting! :D
ReplyDeleteLOL. Extra cream? 'Tis a milkshake, after all. :P
ReplyDeletelfb: extra cream sounds like a lot of empty calories. unless you can find me a version enriched with vitamin B and zinc and other nutrients :P
ReplyDeleteWhat version would that be? :P
ReplyDeletelfb: dunno. i've always just hastily gulped down every type of cream i've tasted, without taking the time to check their nutritional content :P
ReplyDeleteAnd suddenly you're worried about whether the cream's nutritionally enhanced or not? Why the sudden change of heart? :P
ReplyDeletelfb: as you mature and grow wiser, you become more cautious about what you put in your mouth? :D
ReplyDeleteIndeed. Suddenly not everything tastes good. LOL.
ReplyDeletelfb: ya, especially not the sour ones. eww. :P
ReplyDeleteThe famous amos milk shake sounds like my kind of drink! ;)
ReplyDeletebangsar-babe: ya, i couldn't resist trying that one too! though in the end, i think cookies taste better just the way they are :D
ReplyDeleteSour cream? Well, at least it weren't expired...
ReplyDelete... was it? :P
lfb: never! always swallow it straight from the, ermm, container :P
ReplyDeletesaw the shop last week whilst stuck in the jam :p was wondering if got biz at that location?
ReplyDeletebabe_kl: ya, i think they need to depend on office workers and tourists, since parking on that street is tricky! :D
ReplyDeleteAhh is that Ferrero Rocher?? And M&M's?? Toblerone? That's food paradise to me! Hehe.. not to mention that I super LOVE milkshakes! Yum!
ReplyDeleteI so wanted to turn all hoochie when that song was all I heard day and night! And yes, still lactose-intolerant but damn right, it's better than yours! :-P
ReplyDeleteSwallow you may well do. Swallow it straight, uhm... :P
ReplyDeleteiamthewitch: hope u manage to check out these milkshakes some weekend! don't try heading here on weekdays, cos traffic will drive u nuts! :D
ReplyDeletemin: hehe, the cool thing about music is that we can't physically be allergic or intolerant to any genre! i know some folks insist they can't stand cheesy pop tunes, but hey, at least it won't cause them rashes or anything! =)
lfb: gasp! i sense you know me better than 80 percent of my other readers. or maybe that's not too difficult after all :P
wonder if it's like Once Upon A Milkshake in Singapore, which I've been meaning to check out but never get the chance ~haz
ReplyDeletezara: ooh, 'once upon a milkshake' sounds like a cool name. will check out their site to see what funky varieties they offer :D
