La Fleur X Uniqorn @ Sunway Geo Avenue

When the last eagle flies and the last lion roars (shout-out to fans of early-1980s animated fantasy films), we can probably be found in one of the Klang Valley's first unicorn-themed cafes, pretty in pastel pink, complete with stuffed unicorn plush toys to weave a sense of whimsical enchantment.

La Fleur x Uniqorn comprises two concepts: The first, La Fleur (The Flower), focuses on hot beverages with a fun twist - customers can personally create their own tulip latte art for their coffee, patiently guided by friendly cosplay-costumed servers. If you've ever wanted to try your hand at pouring your own designs on your hazelnut latte or hot chocolate, here's your chance.

The second component, Uniqorn, is all about customised desserts: Choose your base of waffle, egglet or pancake, then pick a flavour of house-made ice cream (from fruity-flavoured unicorn-swirled varieties to chocolate chip, yam, mango and more), sauce (including maple syrup, honey, whipped cream or caramel syrup), fruit (bananas, strawberries, raspberries or blueberries) and candy sprinkles to complete your own sweet concoction. Alternatively, you can have the ice cream on its own, strikingly plated with a unicorn illustration.

Prices are kept reasonable - a mocha latte, for example, is RM9, while the waffle, egglet and pancake platters are each RM16. All in all, La Fleur x Uniqorn is a pleasant place for chilling out in the Bandar Sunway neighbourhood, particularly if you're searching for a somewhat more distinctive cafe experience.

  9. Lousy people running this cafe. Saying that customers are bitches is not a professional way to do things. Can't even apologise when they fucked up some more. Very immature cafe owners.
