Diem Cafe @ Puchong

Culinary cultures collide: Diem Cafe couples the Malaysian must-have of nasi lemak with a crispy Taiwanese fried chicken cutlet - it's a pairing that works, predictably (RM14.90). And what better beverage to complement santan-saturated nasi lemak than a cold, frosty coconut shake (RM12.90)? The rest of the menu is mainly minimalist East Asian, with nissin noodles sharing space with karaage chicken don.

Diem Cafe
59 Jalan BP 7/2, Puchong, Selangor. Open Mon-Fri, 8am-6pm; Sat, 8am-5pm. Tel: 03-8068-9551

  1. I would prefer something with gravy instead of the crispy fried chicken as other than the little bit of sambal, it is a rather dry dish.

    1. Suituapui: ooo, the chicken is reasonably juicy inside though, so it's not too dry overall :)

  2. Nasi Lemak always paired well with fried chicken, this boneless version even better, do you think so? ^__^
