  3. Nice post. I think I have tried most of the famous ramen shops and found the best to be Hakata Ramen in Fukuoka where many HKG stars would fly there to eat them. We met Ekin Cheng eating by the road side too.

    The backstreets in Japan is always fun to explore and the food prices are reasonable too. Those interesting backstreet areas around Mafu Street and Ginza are full of excitement. I could see your photo of Shibuya where I crossed that junction 5 times at one night and laughed so hard at my stupidity.

  4. i just came back from Japan less than 2 weeks ago, and you got me wanting to go back. not that i won't though, hopefully summer this year.
    will keep these in mind. but so many stuffs to try out, especially by watching recommendations from the japanese tv programmes and also from tabelog . i recommend kisurin (希須林) for a nice meal of tantanmen with chinese style pork ribs.
