Elysium @ Wisma Goldhill, Raja Chulan

With a soaring 32nd-floor view that takes in both the Petronas Twin Towers & the KL Tower, Elysium's cushion-filled outdoor lounge offers one of the city centre's most scenic settings for kicking back over cocktails.

There's an interesting list of mixes here that channel the kick of Angostura three-year-old - Herbs + Berries (RM33) combines the rum with fresh basil, dill & berries, while the Hibiscus Sour (RM28) partners it with hibiscus concentrate & orange liquor. And with other specially created cocktails like the Russian Spring Punch (RM29; ketel one vodka, raspberry puree, blackcurrant liquor, bubbly), Ro-Sey Lychee Martini (RM29; with house-made pandan rose syrup) & Pisco Cocombre (RM33; Pisco El Gobernador, egg white, cucumber syrup, fresh lemon juice), it's easy to imagine the hours flying by till last call.

  1. I am afraid that the neon lights would give me a headache...they usually do. :( The views are lovely, and I don't drink alcohol but the drinks are attractive to look at. :)

  2. The only Elysium I know before this is the movie....hee...hee! :D So, did you achieve a state of perfect happiness here? I use to say I don't drink....but does that include cocktails? Coz I seem to have found a new love for them ;D

    1. Contact.ewew: haha, yeah, i like greek mythology, so i know Elysium from a bit further back, but the movie name recognition will be high for most customers! :) a few cocktails always make me happy, but perfect happiness is harder to find. ooo, i can empathise with anyone who loves cocktails :)
