Pizza Parties @ Strato, Troika Sky Dining

Something to try someday: Strato, the sky-high Italian restaurant at The Troika, sometimes throws all-you-can-eat pizza parties on Thursday evenings.

Haven't attended the parties but we've had one unique pizza they serve, with king fish marinated with mirin sake, flaked tuna, momotaro tomatoes, shaved fennel, sliced onions, olive oil & tuna sauce (also available on the a la carte menu for RM50++).

Other potential highlights include a deluxe cheese pizza of Sainte-Maure, Fourme D'Ambert Blue, buffalo mozzarella & freshly shaved parmesan with fondue sauce. These 6pm-8pm pizza parties cost RM95++ per person, which includes a free flow of wine & beer.

Once the party ends, move on to cocktails: Singapore Sling with fresh pomegranate juice instead of commercial grenadine, as well as this Spicy White Lady, peppery with Cayenne & Szechuan.
Main entries on Strato @ The Troika: February 18 & March 12.

    1. The Yum List: true, two hours seem too short for a proper party, but i can definitely down at least six slices of pizza and three glasses of wine in that time frame :D

  9. Pizza parties! No harm before a run! Though I think the free flow of beer and wine will probably bust the idea of a run:P

    1. Missyblurkit: heh, I just realized it would take a very long run to burn all the calories from a free flow of pizza, wine and beer! I'd be too indisciplined and I'd just sleep off the food, I bet =)

  11. i haven't been to troika, even though almost every other weekend i go to klcc :P my boyfriend and i vowed that we had to dress up a little bit (smart casual) one of the weekends so we can hit the troika without feeling odd and out of place. :) the pizza looks amazing!

    1. Sibu: ooo, actually I think the Italian part of Troika Sky Dining tries to be casual and relaxed, so it's ok to head there in t-shirts and jeans. The other restaurant at TSD, cantaloupe, is more fine-dining and dressy. But as far as these pizzas go, laidback attire is fine! =)
